I bought a pair of DC's remembering from when I was younger and they were some of the best quality skate shoes on the market. Boy have they changed.

I spent $70 on this pair of shoes less than a month ago and they've already got a big hole in them. I'm a stay at home mom, my shoes don't get that much of a workout. In fact I had a pair of globes before these that I wore managing a restaurant and they lasted 2 years before anything like this happened and I was on my feet 8-10 hours a day 6 days a week.

I am so incredibly mad and disappointed. Guess I will be going back to globe and telling every person I know never to bug DC

Ordered the exact same size as my husband's other DC shoes, but these were too big. We had to spend HALF the cost of them (they were on July 4th sale) to return them, and cannot exchange because we'd have to just REORDER, which would cost even more because they're not on sale any longer. To top it off, we have to wait 10-12 BUSINESS days to receive our refund. Had we been able to order these through Amazon, they would've had a *free* return AND as soon as the package is dropped off at UPS, Amazon issues the refund. GET WITH THE PROGRAM, DC SHOES! The ONLY reason we ordered these through the site was because they were on July 4th sale, which was lower than Amazon's price for the same shoes. NEVER AGAIN!

I went in DC store at Seawoods grand central mall for purchase a shoe, and I imagine that they provide me a good service but when I went there they don’t give me service if in the store you guy are taking service grade so I’ll give you below zero coz if you give this kind of customer service to a consumer he will not come to your store again. Even your manager told me that now onward don’t come to our store. What kind of people you hire for the job, who talk nonsense with consumers and told consumers to don’t come again.

I ordered 2 pairs of DCs from the website bc all the stores in our area no longer carry them. They are the ONLY shoes my teen daughter will wear; she’ll wear the same pair for a year before buying any other brand.

So I decided to try the online route. They came in a timely fashion. I thought my daughter’s old DC shoes were a size 9, and so am I, so both were ordered in 9. When they arrived, they looked fine.

My daughter’s box said 9, but when I looked at them, one was a 10. So i thought they messed up and sent a box of shoes in size 10 instead. She went to get her old ones to make sure of the size and discovered that her old ones WERE 10s, so I thought, “oh, well that’s fine then, that works out, they’ll be good to go. I messed up but they sent the “wrong” ones which turned out to be correct”.

But then when she went to try them on, she noticed one was a little tight. She looked inside & discovered that one was a 10 and the other was a 9. Really? So I still thought, “No problem, I’ll just exchange them”.

Yeah right!!! I called customer service and the first very rude rep told me to send them back (on my dime!) and reorder the right ones, and they would refund my money for the wrong ones. But I knew these were on sale (originally $80 and down to $30) and there was slim chance they would still have them...and I was right! The rep checked while on the phone with me and couldn’t even find the specific ones on the website anymore.

She told me that they were out. Gone. So I got mad and said that it wasn’t right bc when I ordered, they WERE in stock. Plus shoes come in pairs, so the matches to the 2 I got had to be SOMEWHERE.

What kind of idiot working in their warehouse can’t tell the difference between a 9 and a 10?!? Then she began getting rude, speaking over me, and acting like she didn’t even care, told me nothing she could do except refund my money. So I asked to speak to a supervisor, to which she told me that no supervisor was working this day. When I asked for her name, she put me on hold.

I hung up and called back and got a different rep. This one told me the same thing, except that she would gladly allow me to speak to a supervisor! (You know, the one who “wasn’t working”, as I was told by the 1st rep). So I spoke to the supervisor and he told me the same thing, except he offered to email me a shipping label that would allow me to send the shoes back for free as a “courtesy” in his words, like he was doing me a favor.

Why should I have to pay to send back something THEY messed up?!? Then he offered me a 20% off coupon for the next order, as if I’d buy anything from them again. I asked him if he ordered something from Amazon, for example, and it was wrong, would he think it was right to have to pay for the return shipping? He replied that he was not familiar with Amazon’s return policy!!!

Like wth?!? Anyway, I’m sending these dumb *** shoes back, and getting my money back, but now I had to go to Amazon to purchase these shoes for more than twice as much. Yes, I paid $30 for them on DC and now had to pay $80 at Amazon. In my opinion, I think DC should have to pay the $50 difference, since it was completely their fault.

But no such luck.

I am so pissed and disappointed. I wish I could speak to Rob Dyrdek himself and explain exactly what “Ridiculousness” really is!!!!!

Likely a carbon copy of yourself judging by the length and intensity of your diatribe.

I can picture in my imaginary mind the looks of glee and disbelief on the faces of my parents back in 1969 when their pouty teenage son announced that he would only wear Florsheim or Hush Puppy shoes.

The reply would have been : "want them ? - get a job".

Order failed in the system and I had to re-order

I have placed an order yesterday for Heathrow Men's Shoes. As it appeared later on, the order didn't go through, though I have a screenshot with the order number.

The money have been frozen for that order. I have a screenshot that I could send if necessary. The next day, today on December 28th 2017 at 9:16am I have attempted to chat with a representative of DC Shoes, Rosa, but she didn't help me and only just told me to call the assistance/customer service. I made a call and I was told that the order failed in the system and I could place another order over the phone.

Only after asking for some compensation since it was not my fault that the order didn't go through, she offered me 15% discount, but she couldn't apply it, because I already had 20% discount coupon on hand. I suggested to do free shipping instead of 15% discount that she offered and she said that she would ask for that, but in the end she did nothing.

I'm not satisfied with that level of customer service. I've had 2 amounts frozen on my account and I can't use my money.

Ordered 2 pair of shoes, estimate time of delivery was 5-8 business days. waited for 3 weeks, called them twice to ask when ill get the product. First person I spoke with said that she will call me back to give me an update. I waited for a week...nothing. called back and the lady said call back in a few days if you still haven't received it. They emailed me the day before delivery that one of the shoes were out of stock. Took them 3 weeks to notify me that the shoes i ordered was not available!!! The most annoying part is that i spoke to 2 different representative and not once did they mention that one pair of shoe was not available! Never am i going to order from them again. extremely pissed and annoyed!!!!

Terrible return policy and customer service

Customer service is of no help. I ordered boots that were very small, despite ordering the size that I always wear.

Return policy is a joke, no return postage provided. Had to spend a 1/4 of what the boots cost me to send them back or drop them off at a retail store. Of course there is no retail store in the Chicagoland area, either provide brick and mortar stores to try on/purchase/return products or provide a better return policy.

They should really re-think there eCommerce return strategy as it currently won't be sustainable in comparison to retailers like Amazon. I won't be ordering any more DC product from now on.

When visiting into the DCShoes.com website, there is a pop up that says "Free shipping on your first order" if you are willing to provide your email address. After doing so, I placed an order and surprise NO FREE 2-DAY SHIPPING! I reached out to customer service who told me that it's not free shipping on your FIRST order, it's on your next order. When I mentioned that it was clearly stated as your FIRST order, and quoted the website word for word and stated that was false advertising, I was told you had to wait 2-3 days for a magical unique code and then I could place the order. If I have to wait 3 days for a 2-day shipping code, why would you need the damn code in the first place? Super poor customer service. Even worse, the shoes I purchased are $1 cheaper on Amazon and I would have gotten 2-day shipping for free with Prime anyway!

They have a 30 day return policy that is held fairly tight. I ordered a pair of snowbord boots at one of their customer services representatives advice on size despite specifically telling them what size I wore in a different brand they advised of a smaller size. Of course the boots were to small and not to mention arrived in 14 days, only 16 days to return for refund. I returned them to the address at my own cost only for the shipping company to advise me they attempted delivery three times and no one would accept them. They were sent back and DC customer service sent me multiple replies ignoring my specific inquiry and only further delaying things until past the deadline. I highly recommend never ordering from DC directly or ever recommending them. I work for a company and we have since cancelled business with them as well and recommend never to deal with them directly or their online site. I am stilling working on my refund and am out countless hours and money on shipping because of their inability to provide helpful service in a timely matter.

Retarded soles

The soles in my newest pair of dc shoes is the most retarded design I've ever seen.............they have holes in the back of the sole ( on the bottom ) that constantly pick up rocks( big ones) that scratch any floor that you walk on.....Iam CONSTANTLY digging out boulders from my soles that get jambed in there everytime you walk in gravel ( witch is always ) just the sound of the rock in your shoe. that grinding noise is enough to irritate you alone..besides having to take off your shoe to dig the rocks out CONSTANTLY ......NEVER GOING TO BUY ANY EVER

I have been watching for a specific pair of shoes for a year,they were always sold out, customer service was bad and told me they would not receive another shipment they did so i ordered them only to get a email 2 days later saying i wont get them because they are out of stock. Management said they couldnt do anything but found them on amazon, i ordered them amd got them 2 days later so lesson learned GO THROUGH AMAZON!!!

I purchased a pair of DC shoes just because i have always enjoyed the style of skate shoes. After wearing them to work (office environment) for 2 weeks, the sole became disconnected from the front of the shoe.

The store wouldn't take them back and told me to contact the company...

I emailed the company 3 times and never got a response, i called and was told that without a receipt they couldn't do anything. Side note...they me be ugly and falling apart, but i dug them out of my closet when i started skateboarding a month ago and they work ok for that...the sole does offer good board feel, but i doubt they will last a few weeks considering they were already falling apart from sitting in a cubical.

Construction of the DC shoes

I love skate shoes and I love DC shoes, However; recently I bought a new pair of black leather upper with a white shoe. The construction seems not on par with what I am use to. Where the tongue stich meets the upper shoe part near the lower first shoe lace ring and the ring itself keeps digging into my baby toe and tops of my feet. The shoes are not too small and I even went with a B width. I have had to put duck tap on the inside of the shoe to elevate some of the discomfort but its not helping much. Has anyone else dealt with this discomfort with DC shoes and if so what was your fix. Obviously I cannot take them back now as I have wore them.
